| HISTORY | ||
Ignis was raised by his father, a well-to-do Merchant. He never knew his mother, from whom he inherited his Elemental genes, but his father told him fantastical stories about her, which inspired Ignis's love of storytelling from an early age. When he was young, he began to train with instruments, first with bagpipe (his preferred offensive instrument), later lute and lyre (his preferred traveling instrument), and finally viol. His father contributed extensively to his studies and the start up of his profession as a journeyman Bard, and made sure that he had the finances to attend the College of Lore, as well. Ignis continues to travel extensively, often along the same merchant routes his father takes and that he learned growing up, and he writes extensively with his father. |

| PERSONALITY | ||
Ignis is a fairly cut-and-dry Chaotic Good. He grew up with a strong understanding of the rules, but he is more dictated by his own understanding of how the world functions, especially after having been out in it since he was about sixteen. He comes off as generally pretty optimistic and people-pleasing, but his conscience is entirely directed by his particular understanding of the situation--and, often, that understanding is informed with a lot of pettiness and sarcasm. He's dedicated fundamentally to his friends and family, and will go to great lengths for them; sometimes, he doesn't always seem to understand (or doesn't care) that his choices might be morally questionable. |
